RJD2 is a Philadelphia-based DJ and multi-instrumentalist who has enjoyed a fairly prolific career ever since his debut LP entitled "Since We Last Spoke". This underground hip-hop super-producer recorded, performed, arranged, and produced his most recent album, entitled "The Third Hand", entirely in his own basement studio, lending his own voice to the analog synths, electric pianos, and guitars provided by his MPC200 XL sampler/sequencer.
The reason for this post is the track entitled "Work it Out", the music video for which, simply and accurately stated, is awesome. Involving simple camera work, elegant and interesting movement, and a pair of crutches, its definitely worth the time it will take to load in your browser.
